Sun, Sheep and Soap

The long days of summer are finally here, we had a glorious spell of sunshine and after weeks of no rain the heavens seem to be opening everyday. That said I do not miss having to spend my evenings watering the garden or the rock hard ground under foot. For me, summer is all about swimming with the dogs, spending time in the garden and lots of happy hacking. Summer is a great season to be inspired to try new products (more on that later).

This month, four new additions arrived at Bramble & Bloom HQ! Meet my friendly grass cutters – Elton, Freddie, Dougal and Hector, they are two sets of Dutch Spotted cross and Valais Blacknose cross twins. Super friendly and lots of fun! Freddie is especially partial to a tickle under the chin and always comes for a chat. I have been thinking about getting some pet sheep for a while and I am so glad to have finally done it. Although it is making darling husband a bit nervous about our upcoming trip to the Border Union show in case I get any more “wacky ideas”…..
